March 17th, 2008 by adminThe University of Phoenix offers programs in criminal justice; many people are willing to enter this school. But before you make your last choice, consider the following facts.
Not every student is happy about studying at the UoP. Many students say the quality of education is not as high as they expected in comparison with other higher institutions. There is hardly a student who doesn’t get good grades. And the reason for that is not because of a strong content and great faculty, but vice versa.
If you are looking for a program in criminal justice, probably you’d like to have focus on the major discipline. In the UoP orientation is done more on administration and management. Is that what you really need? When comparing the UoP degrees with those from Harvard or Cornell, the latter seem to be much more competitive and prestigious. You should think of your future career when choosing the place of studying. What employment opportunities can offer the University of Phoenix? Think it over. People say you’ll hardly get a job in the criminal justice field with the UoP degree. Don’t narrow your career options.
Phoenix University is a for-profit organization selling education to its students. Find out if it’s doing well, and you’ll know that it’s not. Enrollments are going down constantly. Be careful. Education can cost you thousands of dollars, make sure you don’t waste your money.
Before making your last decision, think twice and only then opt for the college degree. Be reasonable. Search the information through all the possible sources – counselors, advisors or the Internet. Your education is not about the money you spend, it is about your future. Studying is the best investment, make sure you are a wise investor!
