Myth # 2. Online learning is much easier than a conventional campus-based education.
The fact is that both offline and online education are the same regading courses. Most brick and mortar universities provide the same degree that they provide offline to their online students, the same courses with the same total credit hours to finish the degree program. Though there are quick track degrees where you are able to forgo some credits along with your life experience in a particular field, online education does need a great amount of effort and time.
Myth # 3. Online courses are not to transfer to other universities.
You are sure to face some problems to transfer your courses to other universities if you earn an online degree from an unaccredited college. In case you attend online courses provided by an accredited university, you will escape any problem with transfering the courses to other universities.
Myth # 4. Online education program means you can complete very fast.
Still due to many online educational programs let you plan your time fitting into your schedule. In case you can spare far more time to speed your learning process up, you can finish the education program much faster then the needed completion duration. But in case you are busy and spend very minimal time on your education, you may take a much longer time to end the courses.
