Third World Education

March 17th, 2008 by admin

Many countries face various economic difficulties today. Even though, countries are trying to provide good education for their citizens. Third World countries have quality education as well. The problem is the expensiveness of good education; many families simply cannot afford such expenses. Quality education is available, but unfortunately unreachable.

Developing countries have some world-class institutions. Getting a good education is the way to a better life.

Educational systems of such countries as Egypt, India, Mexico, Turkey, Brazil, the Philippines, Thailand and Malaysia are superb. Many developing countries have a very good level of education.

But there are too many poor people, so the percentage of those who can afford to pursue college education is extremely low especially when talking about the best schools. Scholarship programs are few and are available to the best students only.

There is always financial pressure. Some people have no money for food and clothing, college education for such families is not the top issue; they are concerned how to survive. They need money to meet the basic needs. Only those who have finances can focus on the schooling of their children.

Poor people are not looking for a quality college, they are looking for shelter.

The good thing is that developing countries are nevertheless creating some educational programs. India, for instance, tries to give education even to its poorest citizens.

Considering all that it becomes clear how important education is!
