Computer industry dominates today making billiards of dollars each year; it constantly develops and increases only. 20 years ago nobody could even imagine how powerful it would be, no one considered computers as a vital invention. But today nothing can function without computers – this is a world net connecting everything. If you are not computer literate you can hardly be up-to-date.
No matter what aspect of life you take, computers will certainly be used there. Even if you are not dealing with computers at work, most probably you are using the Internet. Computers are not the systems of the future anymore. They are our present. Everything is developing so fast, technologies face a constant progress. How will you live in ten years if you are not even computer literate? You won’t be able to use any of would-be inventions, think about that!

You probably have some basic computer knowledge from your high school classes. If so, you are lucky enough and it won’t be difficult for you to learn how to use it. Whatever your profession is, computers are indispensable.

If you feel that your computer knowledge is not enough, don’t be afraid to take computer courses. It is very helpful to know how to work with MS Office, create presentations, work with graphs, etc. These are basics. Everyone should know them. You can hardly be employed today without basic computer skills.
Everyone spends some time working on the computer. Don’t be lazy to learn the basics! It’s so easy and so convenient!

If you know how the Internet works, you can shop online, book tickets, you may find any information! If you cannot use computer, it’s time to learn it! And don’t think that you are too old or you wouldn’t need it. Just look around, even 4-year-old children can work on computers, so why can’t an adult learn how to do this? There is nothing difficult about that.

Ask friends to explain you how all this works. It’s easy to find help if only you look for it!
